  1. Use 1/2 cup of basmati rice(soaked and 3/4 cooked).
  2. Get 1 cup of spinach(blanched).
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup of roasted peanuts (coarsely crushed)you can use cashews also.
  4. Provide 1 of medium sized onion (finely chopped).
  5. You need to taste of Salt.
  6. You need 8-10 of garlic cloves.
  7. Prepare 2-3 of cloves.
  8. Prepare 1 of medium sized cinnamon.
  9. Provide 2-3 of tezpatta(bay leaf).
  10. Take 1 of cheese cube.
  11. Provide 2 tablespoon of ghee or butter.

Steps to make Healthy Pesto Rice:

  1. Boil rice and blanch spinach.roast peanuts..
  2. Take spinach, peanuts,green chillies,garlic and grind it coarsely.
  3. Take ghee in a pan and add jeera and all khada masala in it,now add chopped onion and cook it until brown.Add pesto sauce(green puree) in it and saute for 5 min.grate cheese cube and add it in gravvy.finally add rice and salt to it and serve hot with your favourite raita..
